Winemaker’s note :
“Since 15th February 1585 wine-growers in Buttrio” , the slogan from Conte d’Attimis Maniago. This historic winery has been filed lots of interesting references in ancient record, which is located in in the district of the Colli Oriental del Friuli, a land of gently rolling hills known for its superior wines. They also proud of using grapes produced from their vines. These vines are therefore perfectly suited to the environment and produce truly typical wines. A “great” wine can, of course, only come from a “great” vineyard. As well as the unparalleled terrain, another feature of the Estate that should be underlined is that 70% of our vines come from local bio types, i.e. from vines directly selected in our vineyards that have adapted best to our hills in terms of their reliability and the quality of their production.
